Jennifer Teach


As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of McGuire Development Company, Jennifer oversees accounting, finance, and human resources. Her astute financial knowledge and attention to detail ensure the company delivers prompt, accurate financial services to its owners and clients. She has applied her accounting prowess to the management of a rapidly growing real estate portfolio. Whether it is property acquisition, ground-up development, or management of a new client’s portfolio, Jennifer’s broad understanding of the financial structure in the commercial real estate industry brings an unparalleled level of expertise to our accounting and finance divisions.

Jennifer started her career with McGuire Development in as the Controller and has worked her way to CFO. As CFO her responsibilities include: overseeing the day-to-day accounting and finance operations which include oversight and analysis of financial information of multiple companies, preparing quarterly financial statements for McGuire property owners, analyzing quarterly cash flow statements, and establishing new properties. Jennifer is also responsible for year-end financial analysis of all properties on a time-sensitive schedule, annual lender submission requests for all mortgages, and sales tax applications and quarterly submissions for all applicable entities.

In Jennifer’s human resources role, she assists with onboarding new employees, weekly payroll processing, creating processes and procedures, and employee benefits. Jennifer has been with McGuire Development since 2011, as a result she has acquired a wealth of knowledge and has become an invaluable member of the team.

Jennifer possesses a bachelor degree in business with a concentration in accounting from Virginia Wesleyan University in Norfolk, VA.
