The Rails

Located at the intersection of Main Street and Hertel Avenue, The Rails is Brownfield redevelopment that will bring 312 high-quality apartments to the heart of Buffalo’s University District. Built in partnership with Utah-based Blackfish Investments, the centerpiece of The Rails is a five-story new construction building that incorporates both wood-frame and steel-frame construction to create an attention-grabbing façade.  The adaptive reuse of a former warehouse into 28 unique apartments and the restoration of a Main Street fronting office building complete this transit-oriented development.

Available apartments will be a mix of studios, one- and two-bedrooms. Designed with a focus on quality of life, residents will have access to a fully equipped fitness center, a golf and sports simulator, secure bike storage, a pet wash and pet park, a music room, a demonstration kitchen and multiple common areas to study or gather.
