Buffalo School of Culinary Arts & Hospitality

75 W Huron St, Buffalo, NY 14202

McGuire Development spearheaded construction of the Buffalo School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. Located in the former 5 story C.W. Miller Livery building on W. Huron Street, the concept involved the renovation of the historic Miller Livery building, a National Register of Historic Places. Designed for 450 students, the programming includes a full academic High School plus working commercial training kitchens, a full restaurant, retail shop, and full gymnasium addition built over the parking area. The creative architecture of the “hovering” gymnasium by Kideney Architects created an opportunity to maintain parking spaces in the lot adjacent to the building.

Our team delivered the new Buffalo School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management on time and under budget. The addition and expansion of educational programs are a major asset to the Downtown Buffalo community and surrounding neighborhoods.
