Excelsior Orthopedics Project Overview

Excelsior Orthopaedics, one of Western New York’s premier clinical and surgical orthopedic practice
groups engaged McGuire to serve as its Owner’s Representative overseeing the design and construction of its new, stand-alone 28,000 SF Ambulatory Surgery Center within the confines of its Amherst campus. Working with the physician group’s leadership, the property’s developer, as well as partner physician groups occupying the new surgery center, McGuire’s role was to provide consensus building, budget and schedule management, interfacing with the New York State Department of Health, and general project oversight.

McGuire facilitated Excelsior’s review and understanding of the project at all stages, providing transparency and accountability to the doctors and enabling them to continue caring for their patients while the project proceeded on schedule, on budget, and to the group’s highest satisfaction.
